These photographs and documents are presented here for the descendants of Alice and Henry Hettinger to bring a better understanding of their lives and those of their children, and also to preserve the media.
Henry and Alice Hettinger lived in Sterling, Colorado for most of their lives, raising four children: Robert, Esther, Hank and Harold. They emigrated with their parents from Russia in the early part of the 20th century (1903 for the Hoffmans and 1905 for the Hettingers). The photos and other material were scanned from albums from Esther Lebsack, Hank Hettinger and Leona Steinmetz. Full-size versions of the pictures and documents can be downloaded from this site by clicking on the image name in the drop-down menus.
